[Seriously, Play this chapter and chapter 7 before reading this.]

[Did you play through both? Good. I don't want to hear complaining if you didn't and I spoil something.]

Now this has been lulling in the back of my mind now (Mind you, i've played this chapter at least 6 times, to get both good and bad endings. I suggest this for everyone so that you can get other halves of stories and more clues overall).

Anyway, back to what I wanted to say. We basically know why Adeline was killed. You were the one originally supposed to be in the kitchen instead of Adeline. Her death seems to have been set up by using the stove, perhaps it was kept alight. Adel (as Isis would probably have) saw the stove and went to turn it off. However I've always wondered why Errol was there. Three options/scenarios come into mind.

Scenario 1. 'Wrong Place at the Wrong Time'. Errol happened into the kitchen at the wrong time and was murdered because he had witnessed to much. Sad but it's plausible. However I feel that's not what happened.

Scenario 2. 'What Lies Beneath'. Errol was apart of the Red's with Chris. It was Errol who was to kill Isis but instead ended up killing Adeline. Adel probably did kill Errol in self defence. I feel this because how else do you explain him there. I also doubt that Chris would completely work alone. However there are holes in this theory. Such as Isis coming back in the kitchen for certainty. Thought this theory (sadly) seems the most logical.

Scenario 3. 'Silent Knight'. Errol knew Chris was attempting to kill Isis. Being quiet he may have gotten away with knowing more around him than people thought. Errol possibly suspected something when he too noticed Chris wasn't at his station. If it was Chris who snuck into the kitchen to kill Isis (but ended up killing Adel instead) perhaps Errol arrived to stop him. However Chris quickly killed Errol before finishing off Adel. Adel perhaps screamed just as Errol was stabbed. My reasoning for this is because in Chapter 7, Chris uses a knife in the second half. A knife (depending on the scenario) was also use to attack Isis in a previous chapter. However again this has it's plot holes such as how did chris sneak in and out being undetected. However this is my personal favorite theory though it is less likely than both scenarios above. I guess it comes down to whether you want Errol to be an innocent bystander/hero or a villain.

*Edit, this review was written before seeing antoines bad and good ending. However both latter Scenario's could still happen with both of the other boys. Just Scenario 1 is canon for Antoines.

I feel bad for Isis because of how her parents treated her like she's not the same as them, but I hope something good will happen to her. //drowning in all of the feels ;w;
