Reading, experimenting, being praised, surpassing others, being right, showing off how he knows a lot, his hair. He likes playing with his hair by twirling it around his fingers. It relaxes him, so he will do it whenever he talks with people he considers to be superior than him, or when he's trying to explain an idea.Dislikes:
Being proven wrong, people in general, but especially those who say his hair is pink. He dislikes contact and getting close to people, he feels like they are intruding his personal space. He's also careful not to let people touch his hair, though he likes it when someone plays with it.Goals:
Basically, be the best, be perfect. He feels like that way he'll achieve what he couldn't when he was little, but he tends to crash way too often against reality, his arrogance dragging him down to the bottom again and again.Fears:
Failing, basically. He's actually very easily scared, so he will act nervous around anyone who seems defiant or powerful. Unless they doubt of his knowledge or him in general, and he'll end up earning himself a beating. Personality
Arrogant. He loves to boast. He loves winning and being praised. He wants to be perfect and he'll try it every time he can. Even if he's scrawny and pretty weak physically, he'll defy anyone that wants to prove him wrong. He uses magic most of the time to get out of trouble.
Basically, he's obsessed with the mind and its powers, not exactly with anything physic, so it is surprising if he manages to keep any 'normal' relationship. He tends to ruin it all with philosophic conversations about why mice like cheese and its metabolic consequences when the cheese has a nanogram of caffeine in it.
I'd define his personality as schizoid, as he finds hard reading into people and getting to care for them or show affection. Not that he can't, but it's not natural in him. He would rather spend a week alone than go to a party, and he dislikes contact and relations almost as much as dirt in his cloth and hair.
He's sarcastic and replies when teased, but when he's not being threatened, he can even be shy.
He loves his hair above all the things, and he'll hate you if you touch it.
He's cold and pretty much uncaring for most of the time, but he does act when he thinks he can do something to help someone. If he can't, he'll just run off and hide and watch.
That is with people he considers equals. With teachers he's polite and shy, childish even when showing his curiosity for things, as he's always trying to learn.Story
(the story here has some little changes compared to the one I'm planning to use for Gaeren Project, so it will fit the scenery)
Born in Nokor, being a Pronoke. Studied in a basic Magic and Energetic Control school until he got expelled. He met a group of bounty hunters and decided to travel with them, pursuing a well known criminal. In the trouble, though, they met some mishaps, like their transformation into humans, the disappearance of one of their teammates and the death of another. After he returned, without a place to live in, he decides to try his luck at the academy and earn a title, using the little funds he still has. First Year
He met a lot of people (at least that's a lot to him) this year, and learned enough to boast for the next eon. He got skinned for a sacrifice assignment, managed to get -and incredibly, maintain- a relationship and grew terrified of Miminger. Other than that, his life was pretty tranquil... Um... scept for the fact he almost got sliced in two by a shadow fiend, he almost starves for being scared to go out (thanks for the hallucinations, professor Miminger) and he didn't get first in the EXP count. That was what hurt him most, really.Second Year
Lorelei left recently so he decided he didn't like any kind of relationships after all, keeping from leaving either his room or the library and getting little sleep. He only made real contact on the last part of the year, with new students that he has yet to know better. Other than that, he learned some white magic and got a second place in the tournament. His ambitions died when Insomnia did so, so right now he's not really too motivated by anything other than classes. Availability
I try to be there often!
Not anymore. Thanks, school.

I would be disappointed if it wasn't dangerous. *his face looks calmed, but some pale hair locks fall on it, messy after the journey* *He steps closer, leaving the heavy case behind him, and stands beside the others to gaze at the markings. In his eyes, there is something strangely beautiful in them, but he dares not touch them, as some spells could be cast with the subtlest contact* *He wants to ask about the room's location, but they would probably think he was an idiot so, instead, he keeps his mouth closed. He was not good among strangers... among anyone, really.*Paragraph:
The dim light of the candles flickered around him, making his shadow dance in the wall behind. The circles, drawn with such attention that not even a drop of blood drifted off the almost perfect lines, were inked the dusty floor as grotesque adornments.
"I wish I had more blood now," he muttered, staring at the tore skin of his fingers. Without the valuable substance, how was he supposed to finish the task? He stood up and walked towards the door, as silent as his clumsy feet would let him be, but the creak of the door gave him away. The young wizard shoot it closed with a jerk. No, he wouldn't risk being caught by phantasms or demons, not as weak as he was.
I'm fine with either of them!
More about him?Acquaintances
- Finds interesting
- Will avoid
- Cares for
I'd add a "likes" and "love", but he's not exactly the most expressive person on this planet (nor in Otherworlde's) so there's no difference between "Finds interesting" and "Like", or "Cares for" and "Love". He'll only use the first terms to refer to what he feels.
He tends to avoid those he doesn't trust completely or finds slightly menacing in some way, but that doesn't mean he dislikes them. He'd just rather not talk to them if he doesn't have an interesting topic to discuss.
Why "Dislike" and not "Hate"? Because he's really bad at wishing bad to someone, and it would take a huge amount of annoyance to make him actually seek revenge. He doesn't even bother with Kishen and Bailey.
